We enter the choir room
first impression:
the air is stale
the windows are locked
the accoustical properties
are terrific
first act:
open the windows
first law of using the room
keep windows shut tight
or earn wrath of committee
so many sealed rooms
perfect for temperature regulation
imperfect for breathing
let’s rehearse
under water
instead—
that way we can drown
quickly and effectively
