falling snow
scurries over us
like dawn
after planetfall
everybody giggles
like a kid
with a fresh haircut
fluffy snow
mutes and softens
dazzles day’s light
lightens winter’s early dark
a cooing talcumed baby
a new song
a tempting blank page
