Summer is her up time
possibilities search
like bees through flowers
into every dimension
even the crystal azure
Summer’s end brings
the sky crashing down
crystal shards slice
right through her heart
and pin her in blackest hell
Winter’s grey skies bring
cool reason and she contemplates
each cruel heartbeat growling
in the dubious dark cursing
the neverending promise
