in the sunsoaked front yard
at the farm
mother and baby son
young son and father knelt and
hugged gold-lit in the warm
tall grass, smiling all, chakras
open in greeting in joy purest
in the eyes of the infant greeting
his father after a month of travel
wrapped in the warmth of
birdsong cicada oratorio and
farm-rich growth
the moment stays
immutable
