more like tan or sand
hold their shape
sometimes a smudge of oil
darkens an oval
fresh bags hold their shape
but used old bags sag
soften and bulge
Warm crusty bread cradles nicely
in a brown paper bag
it looks traditional
thrifty, ecological
old new age
I prefer plastic
bread in a plastic bag
may not look all that cool
but it stays fresh
much longer than
bread in paper
I prefer an unsliced loaf in plastic
