This morning was unlike the previous ten:
\nthe children didn’t waken me again
\nwith startling whooping cries that cauterized my eyes
\nand made me wish for what and don’t know when.<\/p>\n
The two year old would run around the house
\nenough to make a sainted statue grouse
\nthe rhythm of his steps could give me the dyspep
\nand make me hide behind my loving spouse.<\/p>\n
The six year old was certainly aloof
\nI let him watch my TV, like a goof:
\nthe large high definition for days and days was his’n
\nand if I tried to watch he’d raise the roof.<\/p>\n
Now, I don’t want you all to think I’m lazy
\nand if you think the details kind of hazy
\nI’ll have you all know this: I’m really going to miss
