\nwhile waiting for some surgery, Hon.<\/p>\n
It’s mainly conversational stuff
\nwithout the tired conventional guff:
\nthe world may all be going to hell,
\nbut Bukowski bluffs his way pretty well.<\/p>\n
Hank claims he’s tougher than fingernails
\nand fights propel his poetry sales
\njust drink, and fight, and write in the gutter
\nand somehow you’ll get bread and butter.<\/p>\n
Booze as a primer worked for him:
\nhe pumped out profusion on a whim;
\nI’d rather write my life stone sober,
