my neighbor has an asphalt lawn
\nit takes no time at all
\nno watering from night to dawn
\nno prepping in the fall<\/p>\n
and all it needs is just a coat
\nof green enamel paint
\nwith painted flowers that no goat
\nwould ever try to eat<\/p>\n
Yet I, I try to tend my grass
\nwithout the use of chemicals
\njust sheep manure which woe alas
\nsmells like a plague Old Biblical<\/p>\n
I never spray but pull my weeds
\nwithout the use of staff
\nall backs that such a job can need
\nhurt only when I laugh<\/p>\n
And when I cut I must take care
\nno cuttings on his paint
\nI messed up once and it’s no fair
\nwith green on green he’ll faint<\/p>\n
I love the green on golf courses
\nthey have a special shine
\njust let me use napalm or worse
