Snowstorm relentless reels like film to screen
\nand headlights strobe particulate invasions:
\nwhite missiles veer like shrapnel missing close
\nI’m driving hard into a winter maelstrom.<\/p>\n

O let me stay within the road’s confines
\nand let my eyes see more than just my fright
\nlet seining blizzard float above the road
\nand not congeal to cruel black ice this night.<\/p>\n

My eyes are grasping out for anything
\nto keep my brain from curdling deep inside
\nand soon the images I see take life
\nas screeching snow and crusted steel collide.<\/p>\n

This drive is fraught with splashes shrieking still;
