The sun is shining bright enough
\nto make our cat think that it must
\nbe warmer outside and I am just
\nabout to agree ‘coz the furnace bust.<\/p>\n
I don’t even want to think such stuff
\nMy wife and the cat and I are tough
\nbut it’s twenty below, and that’s enough
\nto make us fear this could get rough.<\/p>\n
I bought some heaters got out some stuff
\nlike multiple sweaters and the old ear muffs
\nin case the repair guy calls my bluff
\nand tells me repairs won’t be enough.<\/p>\n
And so we’re waiting shivering gruff
\nfor repairs and heat and other stuff
\nlike whether the news is bad enough
