This business of not<\/em> posting every day has its downside. I have this feeling of anxiety hanging around me, as if I had chopped up mushrooms and onions, went to answer the phone, and discovered myself in a long conversation with someone I could not escape but did not wish to speak to. In other words, let’s get the steak on the grill!<\/p>\n On the progress front, I have established the provisional title, chapter set up and chapter themes. Better than that, ideas for the poems are starting to be easier to find; in other words, my brain is starting to rev up on this project. I have had conversations and am planning more with some artists who are pretty simpatico\u2014 we’ll have to see what comes of that. This morning, I found myself singing a possible poem as a rousing music hall kind of thing with lots of bum-ba-bum and ra-ta-ta-ta filling in blanks.
