Keyboards are so model T.<\/p>\n<p>The death of the keyboard will allow the speaker<br \/>\nto use words naturally, while the computer<br \/>\nplaces them on the page. A word of warning:<br \/>\nI suggest you keep any murderous intent<br \/>\ntoward your keyboard to yourself,<!--more--> because<br \/>\nyou wouldn&#8217;t want it biting off the end of<br \/>\none of your fingers, or even taking over<br \/>\nyour work with an eye to replacing you.<br \/>\nThen we really would have monkeys ruling<br \/>\nthe earth, the planets, and everything;<br \/>\nexcept that the monkeys would be the keyboards,<br \/>\nand the monkeys themselves would be as obsolete<br \/>\nthe typewriters at which they proverbially sat.<\/p>\n<p>Why do I suddenly feel like peeling a banana<br \/>\nand grooming somebody with thick hair?<br \/>\nAnyway, I&#8217;m a poet, yo.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I dictate virtually all of my poems to the computer.
