\nBegins with delight in the night:
\nClosed eyes, open heart look within
\nFeel fear fading: that knot of worms
\nThat aches like a twisted fist
\nRecedes as its hideous pewter
\nIllumination sputters into insignificance.
\nAllow the softly quivering liver to
\nFlush away tension and relax.
\nConsider joy of reunion with bliss.
\nConsider fresh life burgeoning blossoming
\nI recall misted pink and white
\nAnd pastel blue blueberry blossoms,
\nLittle bells, sweet, tangy, plucked by my little
\nEager fingers, sounding sweet music
\nOn my tongue, promising sweet luscious
\nPlump berries later after summer’s sun.
\nAnd gentle spearmint leaves, cedar,
\nPine sweetening the air in the quiet
\nSundrenched July glades. There I
\nFelt softness, a greater compassion of
\nThe earth. I remember crouching,
\nA child, blissful for the moment,
