Then, they played over baseball speakers<br \/>\nat fans screaming so loud that nobody could hear the static or the band.<br \/>\nNow, he is a time machine, giving us a trip to the perfect moment sculpted<br \/>\nby a billion memories into the quintessence of pure joy. Today, the screamers<br \/>\nare parents and children and their children: they sway<!--more--> in ecstasy, all telescoped<br \/>\nto childhood by the music and the man; they are the ultimate air band, this is<br \/>\nthe ultimate karaoke; they know every word, riff, chord, note and pause\u2014<br \/>\neverybody plays along, sings along, dances along\u2014 transported to the place<br \/>\nthe music rose from the ashes and transcended mortality.
