When you and Mom came to my room here
\nI was asleep. You appeared in yellow gauzy
\noversmocks and plastic gloves, you trying\u00a0 to
\nTie a mask, entering the biohazard zone.
\nYour half-term belly and smile
\nAnd both your wits and charm made me laugh.
\nOnly after you had gone did I awaken
\nenough to remember your anniversary.
