Wind hisses through the gauzing screens today;
\nOutside the trees are gossiping like drunks.
\nThe sky is pale, both sad and bright at once,
\nThe wind is whipping whitecaps out to play.
\nLeaves twist and let the wind have its own way
\nReleasing pressure on the trees’ old trunks,
\nElse maple oak and ash would just be stumps
\nAnd nothing here that’s green could ever stay.<\/p>\n
And through the swaying leaves there flickers light
\nA shadow show of quickly changing golds
\nThat challenges the eye to read its story<\/p>\n
And if imagination can take flight
\nAnd if my comprehension may be bold
