it wasn’t much different from a hospital

\nthere was the usual nudity and indignity
\non my part, the lack of communication

\nas far as I could tell totally determined
\nby aliens who sucked me off the road
\nin a glare of green and orange light
\nthen I waited held in place by tentacles
\nsupervised by one large eye in the wall
\nfinally they got around to me I was
\nprodded and impaled of course
\nin various ways by many cold and impossible
\nimplements; I waited again with no explanations
\nwaited forever it seemed until the eye
\nclosed and I saw the green and orange glow
\nand found myself naked in the world again
