As the cast lounges around gabbing
\nthe stage crew loads the set
\nand gear into the van and
\nand the pickup in pouring rain.<\/p>\n

It didn’t matter that the stage
\nmanager asked the actors for help;
\nthis is community theatre and
\nactors are too excited for that.<\/p>\n

There are friends to see and the joy
\nof celebrity, lit by these same stagehands
\non a set they carefully built.
