The only news at this party<br \/>\nhad been incremental adjustments to<br \/>\nwhat we already knew so well,<br \/>\nand in this comfortable way the gathering<br \/>\ndefined what was good and happy<br \/>\nand wondrous in our particular world.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I threw a surprise party for Flora&#8217;s birthday, and it worked beautifully.
