A bit extreme, don’t you think?

\nYou know: the little horizontal- striped legs
\nsticking out from under,
\ntheir size four ruby slippers
\ntoes-up, as they say,
\nand right in the midst of
\nthose cutsy stogey-puffin’ Munchkins.
\nI’m not sure I’d be in favour.
\nOf the house, I mean:
\ndropping on her like that.
\nLike, how would you feel?
\nOne minute, you’re a wretched spinster
\npumping along on your ecologically
\nefficient bicycle\u2014
\nand the next, you’re a dead witch
\ntoes-up under a fallen house.
\nI repeat: how would you feel?
\nLike, it’s not as if you were
\na cigar- chomping red-neck
\nbelching along in your pickup,
\nshotguns stacked in the rack behind your head.
