\nHis father is a pleasant man, always was smiling
\neven if he didn\u2019t \u2014
\nYou delivered yesterday, by the look of you.
\nIs yours that little girl, pink blanket over by the door?
\nVery nice: such delicate features. They say you mustn\u2019t treat
\ngirls different from boys; I think that\u2019s a pile of poop.
\nWhy, little boys are always moving roughhousing playing;
\nlittle girls are quiet, sensitive, introspective. I mean
\nyou can see the difference even in these little babies:
\nyours is a girl, ours is a boy, and it isn\u2019t just the blankets.
\nLook at the hands on our little guy: fingers like little sausages;
\nyour little girl has such delicate fingers probably be an artist
\nor pianist. Our little guy will play in the NHL
\nmake a million before he\u2019s twenty; your little girl,
\nno offence, but she\u2019s a girl:
\nif she plays her cards right, she\u2019ll marry a rich guy
\nlike my grandson and have a good life.
\nYou can tell she\u2019ll be pretty:
\nthat\u2019s a great advantage for a young woman.
\nMakes up for being female \u2014 awful challenge
\nin this world of ours; who knows why.
\nBut my grandson, now \u2014 Nice meeting you \u2014
\nStrange woman: never said a word; just left.
\nSome people, no matter how nice you are to them \u2014
