His huge leather tunic gleamed;

\nThere he beat the side of his iron blade
\nas the drums pounded,
\nshaking the dusty hillside,
\nheating his hungry blood.<\/p>\n
The marine’s gleaming boot
\nhesitated for a second
\nthen lifted into the helicopter
\nbay from a frazzled rooftop in Seoul
\nas the streets swarmed
\nscreaming chaos below.<\/p>\n
In the empty locker room
\nthe bruised rookie realized
\nonly one winged victor
\ncan dance on the
\nhead
\nof a pyramid
\nand the pharaoh
\nis entombed deep below.<\/p>\n
