Review: The Ecstasy of Rita Joe by George Ryga

George Ryga’s groundbreaking play that marked the beginning of a new Canadian drama takes to the stage after a forty year hiatus at the NAC. This was the first English-language play presented at the NAC after it opened. The script is showing its age, but it is certainly worth seeing. Continue reading
