Register to subscribe
Once you are registered, you can log in. That has certain advantages; for example, it automatically fills in the identification spaces for you when you want to comment. It allows you to subscribe to to receive notification by email whenever I post anything in the categories you choose to be notified about. It also gives you access to my periodic newsletter.
To register, click on this “Register” link, or the “Register” link in Meta in the sidebar. There you will be asked for your name and email address. The software will send you a confirming email and password and a link to allow you to log in.
After you register, you can subscribe to some or all of the categories of post in wordcurrents. That way, whenever a new post or comment appears in that category, you will receive email notification. Once you are logged in, go to the “Subscribe” panel, and check off the categories you wish to receive notification about. As a subscriber, you get to choose to receive (or not receive) email notification for any category of post. Selecting the poetry category will net you at least one email every day; whereas selecting the sonnet category might result in one or two per month. The review category will net you occasional notices most months. Also, if you wish to comment, your id should appear in the comment id slots automatically.
Subscribers also have access to a list of comments and recent posts as well as the usual information and posts. You can change your subscriptions at any time. You can also view the blog without logging in. I hope you choose to subscribe.
