Inside my head

Universes rise like dough
in a wide blue porcelain
bowl in my mother’s kitchen

soon she will punch it down
pour in some juicy raisins
brown sugar and knead some more

outside the dark morning wind
roars blizzard but stay
inside my head the kitchen’s warm
