tree art

On the surface
of bright snow
on a sun-clad day
trees etch
mobile blue
fantasy on the snow

as the breezes play
the tiniest twig
takes part
with loose free
entrancing laceries

here a fox scampers
on finest crystalline
there a flock of swallows
swoops and flees
long before swallows
would arrive
in spring desperation
