Christmas is upon us
gobbling cheese logs
fruitcake and wide-eyed
villagers indiscriminately.
The ravenous beast
hovers drooling over
the watchful winterside
waiting for booze.
If you approach
carefully, with
flagons of booze,
Ho! Ho! Ho! hangover.
