Who touches you?
Who places skin on skin
in candle light
and you delight in it?

Or as you leave the barber,
doctor, cosmetologist or nurse
or therapist
is that all for the week?

And is that touch
the sole delight
or is there more?

And do you
can you
day to day
wish for
and want
this hand
that hip
or back
or thigh
those lips
or fingers
or hugging arms?

And such a list:
is it the sum of all
or just the part?

And do you yearn
or can you take?

And why?

And have the years
brought through this skin
the love
you wanted to come in?
