snow fun

[Another in the snow series]

Entering a building
with a load of snow
trapped on your toque
on your collar
on your shoulders
on your eyebrows
and eyelashes
and mittens
and any possible
slightly horizontally
inclined surface
is a challenge
because that snow can end up
in your boots
to melt and wet your socks for the way home
down your neck
to melt and make you shriek and squirm right now
onto the rugs and floors
for various booby trap activities later
in other words
snow requires
a sense of humour.
