Anticipation II

The eastern breeze is still
Piling up waves in the channel,
Gentle now, but building
Into rain tomorrow
And fall next month.
Soon we will be leaving
Returning to the steady floors
Of home, and hte warmth
Of familiar things
In close horizons.
