Dimension shift

My grey and pink
Purring beside me:
I wrote a word or two,
Instantly saw her outside
Silhouetted at the shore,
Drinking tongue flicks of river.

Trace complex indirect path
She took — ergo —>
Calculation of time
Of energy expended
Of words on the page
Of memory gone;
Those words, thoughts
I placed in another dimension
Now inaccessible.

Time measured in cat.
