West by north-west

It was more dramatic for Cary Grant
In the movie; for me it’s just a warm spot
In the sun in the lee of some dogwood
Beside the dock. I sit on my resin chair
Soaking in sunlight on the path; usually
Low impedence is the order of the day
In this traffic zone of groceries and
Guests. Today it is warm solace from the cool wind
Blowing from north by north-west.
