Birches

Birches are delight white
Their bark is a natural book
I have taken time to read.
All that history scribed by time,
Insects, woodpeckers, passing edges
— all there for anyone to read, free.
It is equally avaiable in braile,
Code, or just leaning and listening
To the leaves chattering.
