we focus in on a solitary figure
a woman dressed all in black
a floor-length heavily brocaded dress
she regards her face in a hand mirror
Evelyn, do I look tired to you?
(ready electrics cue two)
Yes Ma’am. I hope you sleep well

(ready sound cue three)
Thank you, yes. You may go.

When she is alone, the woman
takes a small revolver
from the purse on her dresser
she holds it at arms length
pointed at her throat
Do you have the answer?
