Breathing

rachet night
bolt crevice
pressure abhor
scream silent
rictus teeth
black gobble
salt space
frantic claw
black blood
crow panic
hack nowhere
copper acrid
hold until
i face the dreamy
close world
of oblivion . . .

Hello, soul

I am your guide

(You never say my name I don’t mind)

Let us discover the purpose

Of your previous life

And whether it meant anything —
This discourse
is set among trees
with no name
no branch
stirring
On a beach
with no stars
no clouds
no breath
of wind
nor waves
All set about with
Flower trees

Why would I leave this place

To come to that death

There must be more . . .
